Nestled in the serene mountains of Mexico, this holiday home is designed as a contemporary retreat for rest, connection, and celebration. The architectural concept centers around a tranquil courtyard featuring a reflecting pool, which anchors the spatial composition and offers a meditative heart to the home.

Surrounding this central water feature are six private bedroom units, each thoughtfully oriented to engage with the natural surroundings while maintaining privacy and comfort. These intimate spaces are connected by covered walkways that frame views of the landscape and encourage a slow, immersive experience of place.

At the heart of the retreat, a larger communal volume unites the living and dining areas. Designed to accommodate gatherings, this open-plan pavilion offers a warm, flexible space ideal for hosting cocktail parties, shared meals, and relaxed evenings with guests. With its simple material palette—exposed concrete, timber, and glass—the home integrates seamlessly into its lush, mountainous context, blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors.
